Got a question?

Please read through our FAQs before contacting us with anything you are unsure of.

1. How do we find Claytonbury Festival?

We are at Claytons Primary School, Wendover Road, Bourne End, Bucks SL8 5NS. See Find Us.

2. What is the parking situation?

There is NO parking available at the school/festival site itself (aside from allocated spaces for stall holders, bands and other participants). We strongly encourage that you walk, lift-share or take a taxi to and from the event. There are limited parking spaces at the nearby Abbotsbrook Hall, for which you will need a pre-purchased ticket (available through the ticket portal).  We encourage people to use Bourne End’s main carpark on Wakeman Road (SL8 5SX) which is an easy 10-15 minute walk away via footpaths. We would prefer that you don’t, but if you do choose to park on a nearby residential road, then we ask people to be considerate to local residents.

3. Is any seating provided?

There will be some hay bales scattered around to sit on and a few benches, but we encourage people to bring portable seating and picnic blankets with them.

4. Will there be toilets?

Yes a number of portaloos will be available for use along with one disabled access toilet.

5. Will there be First Aid?

Yes, a dedicated first aid van will be on site.

6. How will the event organisers deal with the sale of alcohol?

Only those wearing a wristband denoting they are over 18 will be permitted to buy alcohol. ID will be required at the entrance to prove you are over 18 if you look under 25. If ID cannot be produced when requested, then you will be given an ‘under 18’ wrist band.

There will be a full programme available on the day.

8. What happens if my child gets lost?

The venue covers the school fields and playground and will be enclosed. Children (anyone under the age of 16) will not be permitted to leave the venue unaccompanied. In the unlikely event that your child gets lost within the venue there will be a clearly signed, designated Lost Child meeting point (The Bell Tower). Parents will be able to write their contact details on their children’s wristbands at the entrance.

9. Can I smoke at the venue?
